Archive of photographs reproduced for Maximumrocknroll presents : The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: A Punk Rock Photo Exhibit, held in 2003 at the Balazo Gallery, San Francisco. Collection depicts numerous punk rock performers and concert-goers, many taken at San Francisco Bay Area venues. Also includes two identical original flyers for the exhibit and an original caption sheet describing the content and context of the show.

Maximumrocknroll (aka Maximum Rocknroll, MRR): began in 1977 as a punk rock radio show in Berkeley, Calif.; in 1982 became a highly influential zine associated with the San Francisco Bay Area punk scene.
Martín Sorrondeguy: prominent figure in the queercore movement; vocalist for various bands, including Los Crudos and Limp Wrist; documentary photographer of punk movement.
